Our friendly, one acre, lifestyle property lies on the south-
eastern outskirts of Napier. Here, we enjoy providing Hawke's Bay and Kiwi Host hospitality to our guests. In addition to home hosting we have a worm farm, grow a variety of fruit and produce and keep free range chickens.

Ten minutes north to the Art Deco delights of Napier and ten minutes south to Hastings - the "Fruit Bowl" of New Zealand.

Located in the centre of Hawke's Bay Wine Country, we are close to all tourist attractions - wineries, local produce Grower Markets, restaurants, cafes, the Taradale Shopping Centre, Eastern Institute of Technology, golf courses, Splash Planet and sea shore or river fishing.

Our goal is to provide the highest standards in hospitality.

We have two guest bedrooms in a private wing. Each has very comfortable Super King double/single beds. One room has an ensuite with spa bath and shower. The other has an exclusive adjacent bathroom and shower.

Both bedrooms have tea/coffee facilities, colour TV and their own entrance and key.

In the guest lounge you can listen to music, watch TV, play cards, sharpen your wits over a game of scrabble or enjoy a good read.

Breakfast is generous and served in a sunny, secluded courtyard setting. Muesli, fresh yoghurt, fruit preserves, jams, lemon curd and marmalade - all homemade by Merrylyn - plus orange or grapefruit juice from our citrus trees. If you fancy a cooked breakfast it comes with our own fresh free range eggs.

Return from a day exploring Hawke's Bay (perhaps a trip out to the Cape Kidnappers Gannet Colony or enjoying one of our scenic walkways) and sip a glass of wine over a friendly game of Petanque, before heading out to dine at one of the wide choice of superb cafes and restaurants.

We provide evening meals on request and would enjoy your company at our table. We can also make up a picnic hamper,
if you wish. Our barbeque is available for your use, as are our laundry facilities.

By prior arrangement (and weather permitting) we may be able to organise a day out fishing aboard a private charter boat at very reasonable rates. We also have rods etc for a spot of local surf casting or we can arrange a guided trout fishing experience.

Our property is easy to find, handy to everywhere and it has a large off road parking area.

We will greet you as guests but farewell you as friends. When it is time to leave we hope that you will want to return and that you will pass on favourable comments to others visiting Hawke's Bay.

We network successfully with a group of local accommodation providers. If we cannot accept your reservation then we will try to find you an acceptable alternative with one of our associates.
